Hi! We are Adriana and Syd, high school best friends turned co-founders of Sogno Sweets!

If you know us, you know our story really goes back to our early high school days where we would spend countless nights exploring new ice cream places, around our home town, Cleveland, OH, or planting ourselves at our favorite ice cream shop, to just sit and talk about life…for hours. And, in one of those deep life conversations along the way, we had a dream to open up an ice cream business!

Flash forward to 2023 & here we are! But how did we actually get here?

In June of 2023, we were both in the process of transitioning to new jobs after our first year of working in the “real-world.” We left behind two emotionally draining jobs and decided that it was time to create something that was not only ours, but would fill us with the passion we so desperately needed back in our lives! So, we revisited the idea of our business, over brunch, and decided to go for it, despite not knowing where we were truly going.

Syd reconnected with an Apé owner, from almost a year prior, and that is how we found our perfect 1978 Italian Apé! A few weeks later, we road-tripped down to Kentucky to see the Italian beauty, and we like to say the stars aligned, because it was the perfect match – we put a deposit down that day (while eating gelato, duh!). From there, we spent the winter of 2023 renovating the Apé to fit our new brand.

We loved watching our vision to fully come to life this year, and we are so excited for you to become a part of our story too!
